For the last 4 years I have been volunteering with the archives at the Columbus, Ohio Community Festival (COMFEST). Comfest has always been an avid documentary force when it comes to keeping track of the events and happenings at the festival. Every year they set up a display of past t-shirts, mugs, maps, binders with communications on how the festival began and video displays of past years documentary efforts. This year not only did I help put together a screening event for local filmmakers, Best of the Columbus Moving Image Art Review from 5-6PM each evening but I also spent 7-8 hours each day capturing videos and photos of various events.
